Best Ways To Download Paid Android Apps For Free

Android and IOS are the two most popular operating systems in Smartphones these days. IOS and Android are also the toughest competitors of the smart phone world. But from the last few months Android operated Smartphones marked a successful record with more sales than IOS. Some of the most popular makers of Smartphones like Samsung, LG, HTC and Sony uses Android OS. In addition to that it is maintained by Google itself.

1 File sharing

file sharing sites Best Ways To Download Paid Android Apps For Free

File sharing Websites The best way to download Android apps for free is through file sharing websites. The file sharing on these websites is done by Android users who download or buy paid apps and upload them in file sharing websites. The best popular file sharing websites are:

www.4shared.com , www.mediafire.com and www.filecrop.com  and Out of them all 4shared is best and most popular and i will prefer it as it’s the easiest.

Steps to download paid app from these websites- Go to any of these websites and type the app name you want to download for free and add the extension of “.apk”. For example if you want to download ADWLauncher EX ( a paid app in Google play), type adw launcher ex .apk and press enter. The results will then be viewed.

From the results click the latest uploaded file and download it.
Once the .apk file is
downloaded, transfer it to your phone with USB cable and install it on your phone.

Note: You can also download 4shared app from market instead of searching apps in web.

2 BlackMart Alpha app

BlackMart Alpha is an Android app itself. To use this app for downloading paid apps for free you need to search for BlackMart Alpha in the above mentioned file sharing sites. Search results will appear.
Download this application. Transfer and install it on your smart phone. After installation, open the
BlackMart Alpha app. A same design will appear as Android market app on your
smart phone.

A list of apps will appear in this app. You can also use the search option to search and download a paid app. Search results will appear. The price of the specified or searched app is struck out. Click on download and install it directly on your smart phone for free.

Note: You can download any app but don’t update any app from BlackMart Alpha as there are chances that it might corrupt that app.

3 Paying for app in Android market

Best Ways To Download Paid Android Apps For Free

The last tip which is most reliable and the best way to download the paid app is by paying for an app in Android market. To use this

option you should have a good file explorer app like ASTRO File Manager and ES File Explorer.
Install ES File Explorer or ASTRO File Manager. Go to Android market and purchase any app. Within the 15 minutes of trial period you can get the full refund if you cancel the order.

The app gets downloaded on your smart phone. Open ES file explorer and click on Options > Manager
> App Manager. Go to list of installed apps

and press on the app you just purchased and click on backup. The app backup will be made in backup folder of your SD card.

Once the backup is made, cancel the order and install it from the backup folder again. Your money will be
refunded after you cancel the order.

So these were the best ways to download any apps for free.

How to install Android L on Nexus 5 or 7

Google has released a beta version of Android L, the as-yet unnamed next release of the mobile operating system. Anyone can install this on their Nexus 5 or Nexus 7, but it’s unwise to do so if it’s your main smartphone or tablet.
As Google states, “The Android preview system image is not a stable release, and may contain errors and defects that can result in damage to your computer systems, devices, and data. The preview Android system image is not subject to the same testing as the factory OS and can cause your phone and installed services and applications to stop working.”
So, you have been warned, but the good news is that you can uninstall the Android L preview and revert to factory settings. Just make sure you have backed up everything that you can’t afford to lose before you install Android L, since the process will wipe your device.
We’ll explain step by step how to install the preview on a Nexus 5, using Windows 7 or 8, and also how to go back to the original software that your device shipped with.

How to install Android L

Step 1. Download the minimal 2MB installer from this XDA thread this XDA thread which includes the Android ADB and fastboot tools.
You need these to install the Android L image, and this is the quickest and easiest way to install the tools without downloading the entire Android SDK, which is huge and contains stuff you don’t need to get Android L.

Follow the instructions (don’t change the installation path when asked where to install it) and you should end up with a command prompt window:

How to install Android L on Nexus 5 or 7
Step 2. Download the appropriate file for your device:

Download Nexus 5
Download Nexus 7

You will also need a utility such as 7-zip which can extract the files from the .tgz archive. In fact, you’ll need to unzip the files twice, as there’s a .tar file inside the .tgz file. Extract the files to the same folder as the Minimal ADB and Fastboot, which is c:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot.
Once extracted you should have a list of files as per the image below.

How to install Android L on Nexus 5 or 7

Step 3. Head to Settings, and scroll down to About phone at the bottom. Scroll down to Build number and tap it 7 times. This unhides the developer options, which aren’t displayed in Android 4.2 and later. In the Developer options menu, enable USB debugging.

How to install Android L on Nexus 5 or 7

Step 4. Download the Google USB driver from here here and extract the zip file somewhere.
Step 5. With your Nexus connected via USB and powered on, go to the Control Panel and click Devices and Printers. You should see your device in the list. On our Windows 8 machine, it was listed as ‘MTP’ under Multimedia devices. Right-click on it, and choose properties. Click on the Hardware tab, then select the Nexus 5 in the list, and click Properties. Now update the driver, pointing Windows to the folder where you extracted the Google USB driver. Once done, it should report the device as Android Composite ADB interface. Plus, you should get a prompt on your device’s screen asking “Allow USB debugging?”. Tick Always allow from this computer and tap OK.

How to install Android L Step 5

Step 6. Now, Power off your device, and leave it connected to your computer’s USB port. Now start it using the appropriate key combination to put it in “fastboot” mode.
For the Nexus 5, that’s by holding down the volume up, volume down and power buttons simultaneously. You should see a screen like the one below
Alternatively, you can leave your device on and type adb reboot-bootloader to restart in fastboot mode.

How to install Android L Step 6

Step 7. If the LOCK STATE says locked (which it should) then type ‘fastboot oem unlock’ at the command prompt, without the quotes, and press Enter. You’ll see a screen like the one below. To change from no to yes, use the volume rocker, and to select the option, press the power button.
This WILL erase your device, so make sure you’ve backed everything up first.

How to install Android L Step 7

Step 8. With the bootloader unlocked, you can now install the Android L firmware. Simply type
flash-all
and the process will begin. You will see alternating downloading… writing…. erasing… on your device’s screen.

How to install Android L Step 8

Step 9. When the process finished, you should lock the bootloader again for security. Start the device in fastboot mode (as in Step 6), and then type fastboot oem lock
Locking the bootloader won’t wipe any data, but if you unlock it again, it will erase the device of all user data and settings.

How to uninstall Android L and return to factory settings

Reverting to the version of Android you had before installing Android L is pretty much the same process as you’ve just completed.

Step 10. First, download the correct version of Android KitKat for your device from Google's images page
You can choose which version of KitKat you want.

Step 11. Then, extract it as in Step 2 above. You’ll need to delete the Android L files from the c:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder before copying the extracted files there. These are the files to remove (in case you forgot which were which).
How to install Android L Step 11
Step 12. Repeat step 6 to 8, and you'll have a box fresh Nexus 5 (or 7).

How to install Amazon Appstore on your Android device

a limited time, Amazon is giving away 31 Android apps that have a combined value of over $100. And that's on top of the company's daily freebie app.
This being Amazon, though, you no doubt need an Amazon product -- Kindle Fire tablet, Fire Phone, etc. -- to take advantage of these offers, right?
Wrong! Android apps are Android apps, and you can access the Amazon Appstore via pretty much any Android-powered device. It just requires a little tweaking. Here's how (on a device running Android 4.4 -- the process is virtually identical in earlier versions):
How to install Amazon Appstore on your Android device

Step 1: On your phone or tablet, tap Settings > Security. Scroll down to "Unknown sources" and tap the check box to enable this feature. (The "unknown source" in this case is the Amazon Appstore.)

Step 2: Fire up your mobile browser and head to www.amazon.com/getappstore. Tap the button labeled Download the Amazon Appstore. This will download (but not install) an APK file.

Step 3: Once the download is complete, swipe down from the top of the screen to open your notifications view, then tap the Amazon Appstore entry to start the installation. Agree to the conditions by tapping Next or Install (whichever appears).
And that's it! Now just run the app and browse the Appstore, same as you would Google Play.

SuperSU 2.01 update gets support for Android L Developer Preview

SuperSU 2.01 update gets support for Android L Developer Preview
Chainfire’s SuperSU app has been updated today to build in support for the Android L developer preview. Before now, rooting the developer preview involved a few workarounds with custom boot images so root permissions should work properly, but that should all be fixed up now.
If you’ve been using the L developer preview, have you tried rooting it yet, or are you fine with using a non-rooted device?

How to Recover Deleted Files from Android SD Card

How to Recover Photos from Android and Samsung Galaxy Phone

hone
Most Samsung Galaxy phones, or Android Smartphones save the photos and movies taken by the phone camera on a microSD card inside the phone. Recovering lost photos from phone microSD card has a very high success rate if you have not taken many new pictures on the same card.

Requirements:

A microSD card reader (or a MicroSD to SD Adapter and a SD card reader).
A Windows PC or Mac computer.

Supported Cards: microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC, and SD cards
Supported Phones: Samsung Galaxy Series (including S2, S3, S4 ...), Note Series, HTC Phones, Motorola Droid Phones, Google Nexus Phones, LG Android Phones and Smartphones.

Step 1 - Take the microSD card out of the phone if you have a card reader

First, please turn off the phone to prevent possible data loss when you take out the memory card. After the phone is powered off, you may flip the phone face down, open the battery cover of the phone (if any lock of the cover, please unlock it per the instruction on the phone manual), take out the battery, then eject the MicroSD card from the phone.
How to Recover Deleted Files from Android SD Card
Step 2 Step 2 - Connect the microSD card to your computer

If you have a MicroSD card reader, that is great! You may simply insert the microSD card to your microSD card reader and connect it to your computer using a USB cable. If you only have a SD or SDHC card reader, a microSD to SD card adapter is required. Most microSD cards bundle with a "microSD adapter" in the product box, which can convert a microSD card to a standard SD card. You may then use a SD card reader or your computer's built-in SD card reader slot to connect the card to your computer. After you connect the microSD card to your computer, a new drive letter should appear in "My Computer" (for Windows).
How to Recover Deleted Files from Android SD Card Step 3 - Using CardRecovery software to perform the recovery

You may download the microSD card recovery software - CardRecovery from

Windows: http://adf.ly/po4nv
Mac: http://adf.ly/po4ow
Install it to your computer following the easy installation wizard, then launch the program. On step 1 of CardRecovery, you may choose the drive letter of your microSD card (card reader), choose "Phone Camera" on the second option, and check the "Photos" and "Videos" options, then click "Next" to perform a fully automatic scan on the memory card.
How to Recover Deleted Files from Android SD Card
After the scan completes, CardRecovery will list all the recoverable pictures and videos for your preview (it usually takes 10 - 30 minutes for the scan per the capacity of the microSD card). You may then select the pictures that you need (by default, all the recoverable photos are selected) and recover them. The recovered photos will be saved to a folder on your hard drive instead of the SD card to avoid data writing over.

Finally, Safely remove the microSD from your computer, put it back to your phone, install the phone battery, close the battery cover and recovery completes.
If you do not have a card reader, you may try to connect the android phone directly to your computer using USB cord provided with the phone. Many android phones have an option to allow the phone to connect as a "Mass Storage". If you have no way to allow the phone to appear as a drive letter, it is recommended to purchase a SD card reader from online shops or computer stores. That is cheap and easy.
If your photos were saved in the internal memory of the phone:
To recover photos from internal memory of the phone, it is more difficult, or in some cases, it is not possible.
If your phone's Android version is older than 4.0 (to check Android version, from any home screen of the phone, touch Menu > Settings > About Phone), you may try to connect the phone to your computer, then enable the "Mass Storage" option in phone settings or connection settings. If it can appear as a drive letter, you may use CardRecovery to scan the drive letter to recover the lost photos.

If your phone's Android version is 4.0 or later, usually the internal memory of the phone cannot appear as a drive letter in "My Computer" when it is connected, so data recovery software including CardRecovery is unable to access and recover the deleted photos from the internal memory or internal storage. Extra technical steps are needed to make the internal memory of the phone appear as a drive letter, such as downloading and installing third-party "Mass Storage" app on the android phone, or performing low level configuration on the phone, but that may cause further data loss and void the phone warranty so it is not recommended for ordinary users.

How to Recover Deleted Files from Android SD Card

Step 1. Run the program and connect Android to the computer

Download, install and run the program on your computer. Connect your Android phone with computer, and move to the next step.

How to install Android apps on your BlackBerry till it opens up to Amazon store

How to install Android apps on your BlackBerry till it opens up to Amazon store

How to install Android apps on your BlackBerry till it opens up to Amazon store

Despite the robustness of its devices and sophistication of its operating system, a lot of users have been staying away from BlackBerry phones. They have one big grouse: the platform does not give access to most of the apps that people like to have on their smartphones these days like Instagram, Zite and the Chrome browser.

But with its new OS upgrade BlackBerry OS 10.2.1, the Canadian smartphone company has opened up its OS to Android apps. No users still can’t go to Google Play and download apps, but a lot of third party apps stores work quite well on the new breed of BlackBerry devices. In fact, BlackBerry has just announced that the next version of its OS will have native access to the Amazon App store. The OS 10.3 version is expected to be available towards the end of the year.
We have written about the new features on BlackBerry 10.2.1.  So this time we decided to check out how easy it is to install and run Android apps on a BlackBerry Z30.
There are many options to side-load Android apps on a BlackBerry. Here we look at three and tell you what works best.

OPTION 1: The easiest way is to mail yourself an APK, which can then be downloaded and installed. However, this method strangely had a poor success rate. Worked for me with only one of the five apps I tried.

OPTION 2: Snap, is an app that brings Google Play to a BlackBerry and should hence be the easiest, at least on paper. But we could not get to load the app despite our best attempts.

How to install Android apps on your BlackBerry till it opens up to Amazon store
OPTION 3: We then tried a third party app store called APK Train on the browser. This was the closest one could get to Google Play on the BlackBerry. The app store is clean and easy to use. It has a top apps section as well as a search option. Within minutes I had all the apps I had running on my Android device on the Z30.

The apps downloaded and installed within seconds. Of the dozen-odd apps that I downloaded, I could not get the Google Chrome browser to load. It kept crashing, as if reminding us that it was not made for this platform.

OTHER OPTIONS: You can check out other third party app stores like Amazon to see if it works for you. If it does not, there is always option 3 to fall back on. The good thing here is that there is at least one option that works seamlessly.

PROBLEMS: As these apps are not made for a device that lacks a back and home button, navigation can be a problem. We faced issues with the Zite app as it was quite tough to go one

How to Backup Your Android Phone Logs and SMS to Google Drive Spreadsheets

How to Backup Your Android Phone Logs and SMS to Google Drive Spreadsheets

How to Backup Your Android Phone Logs and SMS to Google Drive Spreadsheets

Your Android smartphone only stores the last 30 days of phone calls made or received. Your text messages are also a mess after a point, especially with contacts you talk to often. If you want to keep this data safely backed up, the new IFTTT for Android will automatically store them forever in your Google Drive.
Of course, Titanium Backup is still the best backup solution for your Android smartphone, but remember that’s paid and only for rooted phones. Plus, it only keeps the data safely and doesn’t turn it into an easily searchable spreadsheet.

With the launch of IFTTT for Android, some users are already suggesting unusual automated recipes for the app. The folks at I Love Free Software came up with the idea of backing up phone logs, and we decided to take it further and back up our text messages while at it.

How To Backup Phone Logs

The process to backup your phone logs is pretty simple. Fire up the IFTTT for Android app and create a new recipe. To backup all your phone logs, we will be creating three different recipes—one for missed calls, another for received calls, and the third for calls you place.

IFTTT For Android Phone Logs SMS Google Drive Backup Phone How to Backup Your Android Phone Logs and SMS to Google Drive Spreadsheets

  1. Tap the channel for “IF”. Scroll to select “Android Phone Call” and tap the blue plus sign next to “Any phone call placed”.
  2. Tap the channel for “Then”. Scroll to select “Google Drive” and tap the blue plus sign next to “Add row to spreadsheet”.
  3. Choose whether you want to receive notifications or not when the recipe runs and hit Finish.
That’s it. Now every time you make a phone call from your Android smartphone, it will be automatically backed up as a row in a spreadsheet file in your Google Drive, which looks something like this:

IFTTT For Android Phone Logs SMS Google Drive Backup Calls Sheet How to Backup Your Android Phone Logs and SMS to Google Drive Spreadsheets

As you can see, it logs the date and time, the phone number (blurred in above image), the contact, and the duration of the call. In the recipe’s settings, you can change these elements or their order.
Using the same method, you can also create new spreadsheets for phone calls answered and phone calls missed, selecting those in the first step.
Note that this only backs up the call logs and does not record the phone call itself. You need a different method to automatically record calls and never run out of space.

How To Backup Text Messages

Backing up your SMS is similar to how you backup phone logs.

IFTTT For Android Phone Logs SMS Google Drive Backup Texts How to Backup Your Android Phone Logs and SMS to Google Drive Spreadsheets
  1.  Tap the channel for “IF”. Scroll to select “Android SMS” and tap the blue plus sign next to “Any new SMS received”.
  2. Tap the channel for “Then”. Scroll to select “Google Drive” and tap the blue plus sign next to “Add row to spreadsheet”.
  3. Choose whether you want to receive notifications or not when the recipe runs and hit Finish.
And just like that, a new spreadsheet will be created for all the SMSes you get from now on. Note that it does not work with MMS media. In total, you will get five different spreadsheets—three for calls (answered, placed, missed) and two for text messages (received, sent).

IFTTT For Android Phone Logs SMS Google Drive Backup 01 How to Backup Your Android Phone Logs and SMS to Google Drive Spreadsheets

This method does not cover older messages, but we have a workaround for that. Download and install SMS Backup & Restore from the Play Store, run it and follow the instructions to create a backup. Once that is done, you will find an option to export the backup as a CSV file. This CSV file can be opened in any spreadsheet app. Just copy and paste it into a Google Drive spreadsheet and you’re done!

Share Your IFTTT For Android Recipes

When it comes to the web, the ultimate IFTTT guide covers most scenarios you will need. But the automation app is new to Android and people are still discovering its many potentials. So if you have some cool IFTTT for Android recipe, share it in the comments below!
